TIPP Daily Poll: Statistical Tie With Harris Up By One According to Tuesday’s daily TIPP Poll, Vice President Kamala Harris is still one point ahead of President Donald Trump, 48% to 47%, in a contest that is still statistically tied as Election Day approaches.
This narrow advantage is expected to remain within that narrow range throughout the election, according to a survey of 1,291 online voters conducted over the weekend, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.
In the meantime, support for Trump and Harris is growing among important groups.
Trump increased his support by 13.9 points among voters with a high school diploma, 8.1 points among Black voters, and 8 points among those 65 and older.
With’some college’ educated voters, Harris gained 6.3 points, while with independent/other voters, he gained 5 points.
According to the study, 15% of Americans have already cast their ballots, with 11% doing so via mail and 4% utilizing secure drop-off facilities.
Twelve percent expect to drop off their ballots, and another fourteen percent plan to vote by mail.
Nevertheless, 51% of respondents say they intend to cast their ballots in person or by dropping them off on election day.
The study also revealed that 53% of respondents believe their current financial status is worse than it was before to the COVID outbreak, indicating that economic unhappiness is still a problem.
Republicans reported being worse off, while Democrats were the most upbeat, with 51% indicating they were better off presently. Fifty-five percent of independents felt they were in a better place.
